InnReply is a new service operated by Ricardo Pearce in South Africa. This notice explains how we handle business contact information and enquiries. We aim to respect your choices and comply with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Who is responsible?
Ricardo Pearce operates InnReply as a sole proprietor and is its Information Officer. For privacy requests, email ricardo@innreply.co.za.
What information do we collect?
We may collect the business name, publicly listed business email address, contact name where published, website address and publicly available review profile links from a business's own public website. If you contact us, we also receive the information you choose to send. If you become a customer, we may process the contact and account details needed to provide the service.
Why do we use it?
We use public business contact details to make a single request for permission to send information about InnReply. We do not treat a published email address as consent to marketing. If you expressly consent, we use your details to send only the information you agreed to receive. We also use details to answer enquiries, provide requested services and record contact preferences.
What happens if you don't reply?
We treat silence as no consent and do not send a follow-up marketing email. If you decline or opt out, we will not send further marketing messages.
How long do we keep details?
For an unanswered consent request, we retain only the minimum details needed to record that the address has already been approached and must not be contacted again. For an opt-out, we keep a minimal do-not-contact record, generally the email address and the date or status, for as long as reasonably necessary to respect your choice. We review records periodically and remove information that is no longer needed, unless law requires retention. Customer and enquiry records are retained only as long as needed for the relevant purpose and applicable legal obligations.
Who can access the information?
Ricardo and service providers needed to operate email, hosting and the service may process limited information for these purposes. Some providers may process information outside South Africa; where applicable, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate protections. We do not sell business contact lists.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the information we hold and limit access to people and services that need it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion where applicable, object to processing or withdraw consent. Email ricardo@innreply.co.za with your request. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing information. We may retain a minimal suppression entry to ensure you are not contacted again.

Contact Ricardo Pearce, Information Officer, at ricardo@innreply.co.za. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe your information has been handled unlawfully.
